Fall 2016 Workshops

This fall we're excited to offer 5 class workshops for students in preschool through eighth grade! All workshops are taught by our fantastic staff in our studio, located at 362 North Broadway in Sleepy Hollow. All classes are open to beginners. See below for details: 

PreK & Kindergarten: Ballet/Hip Hop

Our ballet/hip hop class is a great chance for young movers to get acquainted with different kinds of dance! This class is offered on Fridays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Students should wear leotards and tights if they have them, or comfortable clothes they can move in. Please bring sneakers!
Dates: 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 12/2

1st & 2nd Grade: Breakdance

Wanna try something new? No experience needed, this class is fun for everyone regardless of previous dance or hip hop experience. Breakdance is offered on Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. 
Dates: 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 

2nd & 3rd Grade: Hip Hop

This class is great for kids a little on the wild side! This hip hop class is offered on Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and will include a warm up and fun movement to hit pop and R&B songs. Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. 
Dates: 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/5

4th & 5th Grade: Theater Jazz

Want to learn the dances to Hamilton but don't know where to start? Come take our Theater Jazz workshop on Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 PM and learn fun routines to your favorite musical theater numbers. Please wear jazz pants or comfortable clothes, and jazz shoes or socks.

5th & 6th Grade: Hip Hop

This is a high-energy class with an emphasis on fun, attitude, and the opportunity to develop your own sense of style. This workshop is offered on Fridays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Please wear sneakers and clothes you can move in.

7th & 8th Grade: Turns & Jumps 

Wanna learn cool tricks from So You Think You Can Dance? Come join us for our turns and jumps workshop on Mondays from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. No experience needed! Class will have a jazz warm up and an emphasis on basic turns and leaps.
